Tears still fall as you embrace the life you were given

Knowing that everything you want is within reach

You believed in higher powers to help you grow

No negativity from the outside stopped you

Tears fall as they may from joy and sorrow

Knowing who you truly are is what you desired

You always had it in you, buried underneath pain

No more façade, lies or dishonesty to yourself

Tears come and tears go, but you keep fighting

Knowing where you stood once before, failing at life

You are stronger than you ever truly believed

No setbacks are going to pull you back down that path

Tears are going to remind you that you’re still alive

Knowing how far you have come today, your new life

You aren’t recognized anymore on this new path
